Over a decade of hands-on experience developing detection dogs, German Shepherds, and working dogs of all kinds — built on a genuine passion for what these animals can achieve.
I've been working with dogs my entire adult life — and the more I learn, the more I appreciate just how extraordinary they are. Working dogs in particular have a capacity for focus, drive, and partnership that never stops being remarkable to me. Every dog I work with is different, and finding the approach that unlocks their potential is something I genuinely love doing.
My background spans obedience training, behaviour work, German Shepherd development, and specialist detection training for drugs and explosives. I've worked with security companies, professional handlers, law enforcement, and private owners across the UK — and what connects all of that work is a commitment to doing it properly, to the highest standard, every time.
Over a decade of professional experience developing working dogs across obedience, behaviour, detection, and specialist breed programmes.
Extensive experience training drugs and explosives detection dogs to the standards required for professional security and law enforcement deployment.
Deep breed-specific knowledge built through years of working with GSDs — understanding their temperament, drive, and unique training needs at every level.
Working with clients across the United Kingdom — from individual handlers and dog owners to security companies and professional working dog teams.
I believe every dog deserves to be understood — not just managed. Good training isn't about control for its own sake; it's about building a genuine partnership between dog and handler, grounded in trust, clarity, and mutual respect. When a dog truly understands what's expected of them, and has the confidence and drive to deliver it, the results are something special. That's what I'm working towards in every session, with every dog.
The best working dogs aren't made through force or fear — they're developed through understanding, consistency, and a genuine belief in what they're capable of.
Every training decision starts with understanding the individual dog — their temperament, history, drives, and what makes them tick.
Real results take time and consistency. I don't believe in quick fixes — I believe in building things properly so they last.
A great working dog needs a great handler. I work with both sides of the partnership to make sure the relationship is strong and the communication is clear.
Whether it's a family German Shepherd or a professional detection dog, the standard of training I deliver doesn't change. Every dog deserves the best.
